Zetwerk manufactures high-quality extrusions with complex cross-sections produced using a range of aluminum alloys. Zetwerk cuts the aluminum extrusion to length and performs all necessary secondary operations such as CNC machining and surface treatment. Extruded aluminum is often used in car parts for engine blocks, transmission housings, and vehicle and truck bodies. It is also a good material for housing copper or fiber optic cables or wires.
In the building and construction industry, extruded aluminum components can help resist distortion caused by weather and building movement. They retain their strength and flexibility even under loads and spring back from the shock of impact.
GET YOUR CUSTOM ALUMINUM EXTRUSION PROFILES
We manufacture custom extrusion dies to produce extruded aluminum for our customers. The typical lead time for manufacturing custom extrusion dies is three to four weeks. Once the dies are made, you will receive a set of FAIR samples sent straight to your door. Once approved, we will start manufacturing your extrusions.
Aluminum extrusions can create complex shapes from aluminum. An aluminum extrusion uses a continuous solid bar of aluminum that is cut into sections as needed. These sections are then shaped through a series of precise and controlled machining processes.
Aluminum extrusion profiles can be easily customized to your needs and there are many benefits to building objects with aluminum. Aluminum extrusions are lightweight, yet strong. They also have good resistance to corrosion, high tensile strength, and wear resistance. Aluminum extrusions contain no mechanical joints and have a uniform quality.

Tooling design is an optimization step that can improve speed when manufacturing aluminum extrusions. The tooling’s design considers manufacturing tolerances and typical wear from usage.
Optimizing tooling is an often overlooked step when processing extrusions. Adding this step into the manufacturing process saves critical time during process development and ensures the tooling will meet your project’s needs.
A first-article inspection report (FAIR) is a part of any robust product development program. It is also critical to conduct detailed inspections to avoid out-of-tolerance components and rework for extruded parts. Zetwerk’s process incorporates this essential step, giving you complete confidence in the parts you receive.
MANAGED INVENTORY FOR JIT
Global events of the early 2020s have demonstrated the importance of inventory management and supply chain resiliency. The traditional approach to JIT strains your ability to react to market or order fluctuations. Having a globally connected supply partner is an effective way to build resiliency and multi-source supply.
