In Die casting, metallic molds called dies are used under high pressure and temperature, resulting in a speedy casting process. So, you fill molten metal into the mold to get the desired shape. The dies used in this process are fixed.

Whereas in sand casting, the molds used are made up of sand. This process is comparatively time-consuming but requires no external pressure. Therefore, this process is cost-effective, and the sand molds can be recreated in the required shape.
