Zetwerk ensures fast deliveries and short lead times for injection-molded parts and tooling. Zetwerk can work with a wide variety of resins, plastics, and composites depending on the application of the parts. We have a wide range of manufacturing presses, from low tonnage presses for molding small parts to machines up to 1,250 tons for the production of large parts. Zetwerk can also produce parts both in the single cavity and multi-cavity molds.

We have manufactured components ranging in size, weight, and volume. Currently, we produce parts ranging from a few grams to a few kilograms.

Zetwerk helps its customers with a wide range of secondary operations like bar code printing, pad printing, plastic welding, etc. The parts can be finished in a variety of surface finishes like matte or glossy depending on the application. INSERT MOLDING

Zetwerk manufactures many injection molded components that have metal parts like screws and bolts included inside the part. This eliminates the need for loose fasteners and also improves strength and application speed.

OVERMOLDING

Overmolding is a method of manufacturing in which plastic is molded over another molded component. The first component is made inside an injection mold and then placed into a second mold to add the over-molded material. This process is instrumental in producing parts that have complex geometries.

2K MOLDING

THREE-PLATE CONSTRUCTION (STRIPPER OR RUNNERPLATE)

Zetwerk can produce parts using three-plate construction, which can significantly reduce cycle time by eliminating the need for hot runner molds. Three-plate construction molds enable better control of the parting line and reduced wear from repeated opening and closing of the mold.

TWO-PLATE CONSTRUCTION

When a simple part design is to be manufactured, the two-plate construction molds are a better option. A two-plate construction molds are suitable for simpler designs than three-plate molds.

HOT RUNNER MOLDS

Zetwerk can provide injection molded parts through hot runner molds, which eliminates the need for runners. This allows recycled plastics to have a cycle time that is similar to virgin polymers.
