    • Prepare comprehensive estimates for bidding & tendering of water supply & irrigation projects.
    • Prepare detailed material take-offs, estimates, and proposals in accordance with the enquiry requirements and required scope of work utilizing design drawings, specifications, and other associated documents.
    • Estimate costs & solicit prices for DI pipes, HDPE pipes, and other related equipment and bought out items for these projects in order to ascertain the lowest price.
    • Estimate cost and negotiate supplier rates for erection & commissioning, laying, excavation for of water supply & irrigation projects.
    • Compose scope and bid letters and complete required bid forms, including all general and specific terms, conditions, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications as needed.
    • Follow-up with suppliers & contractors for offers.
    • Co-ordinate with clients for technical clarification during bid stage.
    • Conduct scope review of offer v/s contract awarded.
    • Manage the RFx process.
    • Conduct supplier selection.
    • Demonstrate competence in negotiating skills and assessing vendors.
    • Perform bid analysis resulting in the placement of orders with the most competitive compliant supplier.


    • Bachelors Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Production Engineering
    • 6-10 years of experience in Water Supply & Irrigation Projects in an estimation, costing, proposals manager role or purchase manager role.
    • Minimum of 5 years of successful and verifiable experience estimation/procurement of piping and other equipments, excavation, laying and commissioning in water supply & irrigation projects.
    • An understanding of Water Supply & Irrigation Projects tendering/bidding practices and standards including purchasing and project execution for these projects.
    • Must have in depth understanding of supply base and key competitors in Water Supply & Irrigation Projects.
    • Possesses the experience/skills to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications and any related project documents.
    • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
    • Highly energetic and self-starter.
    • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
